Camping in Gerlach
Iveson Ranch is a scenic 320-acre wildlife preserve. For a more primitive experience, camp anywhere on the ranch. If you're more comfortable with a few more modern amenities, place your tent in the ranch house campground. $35 nightly (2ppl)
RV Park in Gerlach, NV
Campers, trailers, 5th wheels, and motorhomes of all sizes are welcome to camp with us. We may not offer RV hookups, but we got a spot for you close to our full-service dump station or in a more secluded part of the ranch.

Burning Man

Go Exploring
The Black Rock Desert and 10 wilderness areas are right here. Make sure you are prepared before you head out. It’s big country out there. Learn more on the Friends of Black Rock website, which also contains safety information for travelers in the region.
Guru Road
In the 1970s, a man named DeWayne Williams created a mile-long desert art installation. Guru Road is a landmark in the area.

Is art your thing? Then head 14 miles up the road to Planet X Pottery where you’ll discover a world of one-of-a-kind quality pottery and paintings.
Hot Springs
Popular in the 70’s, Gerlach Hot Springs (Great Boiling Spring) is still listed on some maps. The springs in town are now on private property. There are a few other springs within an easy drive depending on the season.
Rock Hunting and Collecting
Black Rock Desert is a paradise for rockhounding. More information on rockhounding in the area can be yours when you visit the Friends of Black Rock High Rock. They also have maps and geology books. 320 Main St. Gerlach.
Fly Geyser on the Burning Man Fly Ranch
People from around the world inquire about the uniquely fabulous Fly Geyser. The Geyser is owned by The Burning Man Project and is on private property.
If you are interested in visiting, Friends of Black Rock High Rock in partnership with Burning Man operate walking nature tours on a limited basis.
Fly Geyser is private property. No Trespassing signs are posted.
Friends of Black Rock-High Rock DOES NOT have open access to Fly Geyser.
